Demand our generals pledge to disobey any illegal orders from Trump!

A firestorm has erupted in Washington after six former CIA or military Democrats put out a video publicly urging the leaders and servicemembers of our armed forces to refuse to obey any illegal orders given to them by the Trump administration, key word here being “illegal.”

In a video posted to Twitter on Tuesday, Democratic lawmakers Sen. Elissa Slotkin, Sen. Mark Kelly, Rep. Jason Crow, Rep. Maggie Goodlander, Rep. Chris Deluzio and Rep. Chrissy Houlahan said the “threats to our Constitution” are coming “from right here at home,” and repeatedly urged the military and intelligence community to “refuse illegal orders.”

This should be uncontroversial, and the Republican response to it makes it clear that in fact, they are planning to issue many illegal orders.

Demand our generals publicly vow to not follow any illegal orders!

White House racism czar Stephen Miller said that “It is insurrection, plainly, directly, without question…It's a general call for rebellion from the CIA and the armed services of the United States by Democrat lawmakers.” Donald Trump took to Truth Social to repost many of his followers calling the Democrats “traitors” and even a post calling for them to be HANGED.

The law is the law is the law, and it must be obeyed, no matter who gives the order or for what reason.
