Fire the cop who deliberately shot a reporter at the LA protests!

During the anti-deportation protests in Los Angeles on June 8th, Australian correspondent Lauren Tomasi was hit with a rubber bullet fired by a police officer while recording on live television. The camera footage clearly shows the officer targeting, aiming, and firing at the reporter; there is no question that this was a deliberate attack on the press by the instruments of state violence. 

The police have shown nothing but contempt for the free press and their coverage of their violent excesses. This cop must be fired IMMEDIATELY and the rest of the LAPD needs immediate retraining to avoid these kinds of incidents in the future; this disrespect for the media cannot be allowed to go unpunished.
