NO preparations had been made to defend from drone strikes despite those weapons now being a ubiquitous part of the modern arsenal — a colossal failure that directly led to the deaths of American servicemembers.

CBS News reports that US officials told them “that prior to the attack, there were discussions on the ground about whether the tactical operations center in question should not have been used, as it concentrated too many U.S. troops in a location that wasn't defendable.” 

These lives are the price we pay for Pete Hegseth’s stunning incompetence. The most powerful military in the world cannot be led by a drunk rapist TV host, and he needs to be removed ASAP before any more Americans die.
