In the latest shocking and utterly disqualifying blunder, the entire senior foreign policy team of the Trump administration was caught discussing classified war plans in an unsecured Signal group chat — and accidentally added Jeffery Goldberg, the editor of the Atlantic, to the chat. 

This is an outrageous breach of operational security that should be prompting the immediate resignations of everyone involved: Secretary of Defense Pete Hegset, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, White House national security adviser Mike Waltz, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Vice President JD Vance.

This “group chat” on a third-party messaging service is a violation of basic security protocols that blows Hillary Clinton’s email scandal clear out of the water.

"If true, this story represents one of the most egregious failures of operational security and common sense I have ever seen. Military operations need to be handled with utmost discretion, using approved, secure lines of communication, because American lives are on the line,” said a furious Sen. Jack Reed.
