Demand Congress ban ICE from raiding schools and daycare centers!

For Donald Trump and Stephen Miller’s ICE goons, there is nowhere that people can hide from their brutality. Shocking video footage shows armed and masked ICE agents invading a preschool in Chicago’s North Center and dragging out one of the caretakers while toddlers and parents watched in horror. 

“These are human beings we trust to take care of our children every day,” said a parent, Sarah Wirth. ”We’re all shell-shocked.” The detention was “traumatizing,” said parent Abby Salat. The daycare center was forced to close for the day in fear the agents would return. This is beyond unacceptable.

Having to endure mass shooter drills and lockdown procedures have traumatized American kids enough already. There is no reason to allow armed, masked men to invade preschools and schools and drag away their beloved teachers — especially given their fondness for unnecessary brutality and wanton violence.

The entire ICE apparatus needs to be dismantled and its agents prosecuted — but in the meantime, Congress should be able to agree on leaving our kids out of it.
